In 1978, Gloria and Art Austin purchased TEXAS DRIVE-IN, north of Altoona. It was in business for 22 years and became well-respected in the business community. The Austin’s were able to build upon this respect over the years. The operation specialized in Texas Style Hot Dogs and went on to add Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard & Fresh-Cut Fries.
In September of 2015, a new location opened all year round in Tipton across from DelGrosso’s water park. The new location has indoor seating along with carry out and all of the same great products that its customers have come to enjoy over the years.
