Celebrate with the Mountain Lion Observatory as we observe its 5th Anniversary. The observatory & fort are both open to the public, with telescopes at the observatory & reenactors inside the fort. The Observatory will host a Star Wars Trivia Event.
Rangers, militia, miners and settlers all played a role in defending and maintaining the Lead Mine Fort. Visit an 18th century field camp. Become immersed in camp life and a story line based on local events. A daily battle will be held each afternoon. Free parking and admission.
Experience the thrill of the prehistoric age featuring life-sized dinosaurs and massive family fun!🦖 As part of the Dinosaur Adventure, children of all ages will enjoy a variety of activities: fossil crafting, Jurassic jeeps, themed obstacle courses, riding their favorite dinosaur, and more!🦖
Yikes! The Fabled Haunted Trail at Fort Roberdeau is back again! On this eerie night experience “living history” with characters from Altoona Area High School Astronomy Club. Trick or Treat is for children 12 and under. Haunted Trail is for adults and children 12 and older (younger children are allowed at parent’s discretion.)
