The Altoona Area Public Library is now offering a new, fun and educational preschool program for children age 3 – 6. Preschool Explorers is ideal for families who are seeking a way to introduce a more
structured literacy based program for their children as they begin to transition into a preschool setting. Programs will incorporate literacy development, socialization, creativity and imagination as
emphasized in the PA Learning Standards for Early Childhood Education. Simple concepts like taking turns, cooperation, sequencing, prediction, rhyming, phonics and many more will be introduced during the program. This is a free program and registration is required.
