Lantern Tours of the Baker Mansion

Recurring event see all

October 18 @ 7:00 pm 10:00 pm

Halloween is our favorite time of the year here at the Baker Mansion! After all, when you work in a Victorian-era mansion with countless ghost stories, it kind of has to be. In order to celebrate this ghoulish holiday, we are hosting this year’s Lantern Tours of the Baker Mansion on October 18, 19, 25, and 26!

Our lantern tours will begin at 7:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm on those four evenings. During that time frame, we will hold a lantern tour of the mansion every half hour for a total of six tours each evening. We allow up to 15 guests per tour group, and tickets cost $5.00 per guest

Lantern tours have proven to be extraordinarily popular here at the Baker Mansion, and it looks like this year is no exception! Since we have quite a large group of people interested in this event already, it is best to schedule your lantern tour with us ahead of time. Tickets can be purchased at our Visitors Center during the Baker Mansion’s public operating hours (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm). Tickets can also be purchased at our Visitors Center Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, but please call ahead if you plan to do so on those days. Lastly, we will be selling tickets from 6:00 pm onward during the night of each tour, but ticket availability may be limited those nights due to this event’s popularity.

Cider, candy, and other snacks will be available each of the four nights, and guests are welcome to come in their costumes! For more information on the Lantern Tours of the Baker Mansion, please contact us at 814-942-3916 or info@blairhistory.org.
