Altoona Curve FanFest

Altoona Curve baseball fans are invited to attend Curve FanFest 2024 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 2 at The Casino at Lakemont Park, Altoona.This event serves as the first opportunity for fans to meet the baseball players and coaches who will make up the Altoona Curve’s opening day roster, while celebrating the start of the upcoming 26th season.
FanFest 2024 is sponsored by the Altoona Curve Booster Club. The cost is $20 for Booster Club members and $22 for nonmembers, $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.
Doors will open at 5:25 p.m., and the event will begin with music. Curve merchandise and ticket information tables, along with the opportunity to sign up for fan raffles, will also be available. Curve mascot Loco also will be appearing.
New in 2024: a silent basket auction will take place, to benefit the Altoona Curve Booster Club Charities, in addition to the sports memorabilia auction.
Food and drinks will be served. The buffet dinner will start at 5:45 p.m. in the Grand Pavilion Ballroom.
The menu will include grilled chicken breast, red-skin potatoes, buttered corn, penne with marinara sauce and meatballs, tossed salad, chips and dessert. Beverages will include soda and water. A cash bar will be available.
At 6:45 p.m. members of the team will be introduced on stage. Starting at 7:30 p.m., an autograph session will be held in the Soho Room as fans will have the opportunity for photographs and one-on-one interaction with the new team, coaches and managers.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 814-943-5400 or at Peoples Natural Gas Field main office from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. from Monday, March 11, through Monday, April 1. Credit cards, checks or cash payments are acceptable. No tickets will be sold at the event.
