The Altoona Curve, named after nearby Horseshoe Curve, is a Minor League Baseball team based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The team plays in the Eastern League at beautiful Peoples Natural Gas Field and is the Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Mascots are plentiful! Loco, Al Tuna, Steamer and Trax are at the ready to dance, cheer and put a smile on fan faces. Loco even takes a ride on the Skyliner Rollercoaster next door at Lakemont Park, racing over the stadium outfield wall. Every game features Mama’s famous meatballs – Maria, Marco and Giuseppe – racing the infield during the fifth inning.
